Scottsdale Bachelorette Party Recommendations
Welcome to our series dedicated to the top 10 bachelorette party destinations in North America. In this blog series we will share the hotspots for bachelorette parties in the cities that brides flock to prior to tying the knot. The list was created based on recent travel statistics and the expertise of the BASHelorette team, who either live in one of the cities or visit them to test out their bachelorette party “fun factor.”
We had to start with one of our favorite destinations – Scottsdale, Arizona. Aside from the fact that several members of the BASHelorette team reside in this desert oasis, Scottsdale has proven to be a fantastic choice for bachelorette parties due to several factors including: entertainment options, restaurant scene, hotels and resorts, numerous activities and cost. To simplify things a bit, we broke it down into several categories to help steer your Scottsdale bachelorette party in the right direction.
Trust us with these choices. Many of the BASH team members work, play, eat and pamper themselves at the venues we recommend. The good news? It was quite the challenge to come up with a list for the best Scottsdale bachelorette party recommendations. Why? Scottsdale is ripe with amazing venues, eateries, hotels and clubs, so the stakes are high! Translation: We have been there, tested them out and offer them as our very favorite Scottsdale bachelorette party hotspots.
Where To Stay For A Scottsdale Bachelorette Party
Scottsdale is a destination for golf, spa, spring break, outdoors activities and popular events like The Waste Management Open, Barrett Jackson and Scottsdale Culinary Festival, which means the city is peppered with great places to stay at any price point. Scottsdale has several areas, each with very different attributes and attractions – namely Old Town Scottsdale and North Scottsdale.
For those planning a bachelorette party, Old Town Scottsdale is the most popular place to stay, due to its close proximity to the hottest clubs, bars, activities and shopping. Our go-to hotel if you want to be in walking (or stumbling) distance to popular clubs is Hotel Indigo. The hotel is smack dab in the middle of everything, has an affordable price point, and has a pool – perfect for pre-party bonding. If you are willing to spend a little extra money, The W Scottsdale is one of the go-to spots for locals and out of towners. Staying at The W means your group will already be staying at a place with a fantastic nightlife and one of the best pools in Scottsdale. If a relaxing resort where you may rub shoulders with a celebrity is more your style for a Scottsdale bachelorette party, Montelucia or Sanctuary are ideal spots. Both resorts are nestled into Camelback Mountain, promise lavish luxury and are within a ten-minute cab drive of Old Town Scottsdale.
Nightlife And Bars
Spend a night or two out in Scottsdale, and you will see why it is one of the most popular destinations for bachelorette parties. The club scene is impressive, and has enough variety to satisfy any bachelorette party’s need for fun. Some bachelorette-worthy spots include: Smashboxx, a great place if you want to dance and receive the VIP treatment without breaking the bank. Try one of their all inclusive bachelorette party packages which start at $15 per person. Got a country-loving bride? Whiskey Row is your spot. Whether you want whiskey or shots, your group will have a great time jamming out to country tunes. For the posh bride, head to a Mabel’s On Main, known for its old Hollywood atmosphere and groove-friendly tunes played by live DJ’s. A few other great clubs where your group can dance and have a blast include The Mint, HiFi and El Hefe. Last, but not least, for the bride’s that shun at the idea of club-hopping and want a wine-centric Scottsdale bachelorette party – Kazimierz World Wine Bar. The hidden entrance is a large wooden door, revealing a dark, sexy atmosphere with tables, couches and a bar (tip: be sure to ask for their house “shot”).
This is tough. Really, really tough. Scottsdale has an amazing lineup of eateries, so this was the toughest category for our team. We will try to keep it short and to the point (try being the key term). Oregano’s, a fun and casual Italian restaurant brand with a lot of personality is usually on every local and visitor’s eating bucket list. No matter what you order, it will be great…period. There is an Oregano’s in old town Scottsdale that is the perfect place to share a pizza, pasta or some appetizers before you head out to the bars and clubs, and it is super affordable. At the opposite end of the spectrum, if your bride has expensive taste, Mastro’s City Hall is your restaurant. A popular eatery for celebs, City Hall has some of the best steaks and seafood in town. Plus the martinis and wine list are impressive. If you do dessert, it must be butter cake. TRUST US. Other favorite spots include Pasta Brioni, an Italian eatery where the servers are, ummm..quite handsome..and the food is pretty good too. If sushi is what your Scottsdale bachelorette party seeks, you have come to the right city. Try Stingray, Sushi Roku or Blue Wasabi. You cannot go wrong. Oh, and for a hangover breakfast spot? Try the protein pancakes at U.S. Egg or head to The Breakfast Club.
Spas and Pampering
If pampering and total relaxation is what you seek, try Joya Spa at Montelucia – a Moroccan-inpired 31,000 square foot spa. Camelback Inn is another very popular spa among locals and visitors. There are several salons locals frequent for blowouts, including Primp and Blow, Drybar and Vanity Blowout Bar. Our very favorite spot for mani’s and pedis? Teres Nail Bar, right in old town. You can rent the whole place out, or book something for your group. The atmosphere is lovely, and the price is right too!
The Downtown Trolley is a free trolley that your group can take to get around town. Cabs are all over the place as are private cars for hire. Old Town is fairly compact and can be explored on foot. When the BASH team is out on the town, we use The SBP Driver (480.226.0704), for safe, reliable private transportation around town.
