On a Saturday night in October, while visiting Nashville, I lost count of the number of bachelorette parties celebrating in Music City. I spotted the first one at my hotel, another at dinner and then lost count once we hit the bar scene on Broadway.
I’d blame the booze but that really had nothing to do with it.
Nashville is a great town for a bachelorette party. There is plenty of entertainment, great places to eat and drink, and fantastic music. Plus Nashville is not as expensive or as crowded as more popular bachelorette party destinations like Las Vegas and New York City.
As we encountered one bride-to-be after another, I started to notice some commonalities. There is a dress code to the Nashville bachelorette party.
So, if you’re celebrating your bachelorette party in Nashville, here are a few fashion must-haves for your Music City BASH: white cowgirl hat; white, lace mini-dress; denim jacket; and authentic cowgirl boots.
For your girls, a variation on the look above in any color except white will be perfect.
So where can you find these fashion must-haves?
There are lots of shops in downtown Nashville that sell authentic boots and hats, and often at a bargain of buy one get two free. But a word of caution for your wallet: one pair of boots will set you back $300.
For your lace mini-dress and denim jacket, check out Forever 21 at Opry Mills Mall.
