Celebrity Bachelorette Parties

Living a life of stardom requires certain amounts of glamour and flash. So it’s not surprising when celebrities pull out all the stops for their bachelorette shindigs. Here’s the lowdown on how some celebrities party it up the night before they tie the knot.

Where They Like to Party

Many celebrities are into destination bachelorette parities. And, according to Celebrity Bride Guide, Las Vegas seems to be a hotspot for star-studded pre-nuptial mayhem.

Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries didn’t last very long, but she and her sisters hit the dance floor hard at Taos. They partied into the wee hours of the morning before Kim donned a designer white dress and veil.

Katy Perry’s bachelorette party was also in Sin City. Hosted by her close friend Rhianna, the ladies arrived at the XS nightclub in a convertible hummer and danced until three in the morning.

Jessica Simpson hosted a bachelorette party for sis, Ashlee, at the elite LA lingerie shop Kiki De Montparnasse. The ladies perused the store’s offerings while dining on appetizers.

Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera opted for a more tropical destination. The four-day celebration with her bridesmaids and close friends was in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They vacationed at the One & Only Palmilla Resort, spending the days lounging poolside and the evenings dancing to 80s music at the Cabo Wabo nightclub.

Co-Ed Parties

Another celebrity bachelorette party trend is to combine the event with their intended, a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette gathering for friends and family.

Celebrity Bride Guide posted photos of Brittany Spears and Kevin Federline’s chill co-ed party in Santa Monica, which included dinner at Houston’s Restaurant followed by a relaxing evening at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel hosted a co-ed bash in Santa Monica at the Dakota Lounge, serving their 75 guests plenty of champagne and munchies.

Bridal Goodie Bags

Wetpaint reported that Ashley Herbert, from ABC’s The Bachelorette, treated her bachelorette party attendees royally with ultra swanky gift bags. The bags were stuffed with Love Ophelia Robes, Hair Play products, Yummie Tummie tanks, Vosges Chocolates, and other items meant to pamper and indulge.

Getting a Little Wild

Kate Middleton always looks poised and polished, but according to Us Weekly, she certainly let her hair down at her bachelorette gathering. The Duchess dressed up like British pop star Cheryl Cole, bodysuit and all, and gave a sultry rendition of “Fight for This Love.” She even included a near perfect execution of the song’s dance routine.

Whether the celebrity bride travels far for her bash, throws it in conjunction with her soon-to-be hubbie, lets loose, or gives her bridal party some killer swag, her bachelorette night is guaranteed to be an occasion like none other.
