Brunch And Bachelorettes: A Guide To Divine Annapolis Brunch Spots

by Elisabeth Berman

Brunch – arguably just as important to any bachelorette party as the friends, drinks, and games! For soon-to-be-wed ladies looking to spend time in Maryland’s capital before their big day, an Annapolis bachelorette party brunch is a must-have. Whether you want to continue the party from the night before with bubbly mimosas and amazing food, or simply have an elegant, long meal with all your best girls, brunch can fit into any bachelorette situation.

Read below for the best places to have an Annapolis bachelorette party brunch – mimosa on!

Miss Shirley’s Café

Miss Shirley’s does brunch. In fact, serving only breakfast, brunch, and lunch, and having won lots of “Best Of” or “Must Eat Here”  awards since 2009,  we would say Shirley knows what she’s doing when it comes to making brunchers happy and satisfied. There is a dining area that can be reserved for events, and their creative cuisine (Baltimore Breakfast Trio of Sliders or Benne Seed Chicken ‘n Waffles) and unique drinks – (try the famous Spicy Shirley Bloody Mary!) will meet high expectations and varied tastes of any bachelorette group! Added bonus: pancake, French toast, and omelet of the month are rotating choices and all of them sound amazing!

Iron Rooster

Iron Rooster’s tagline is “Breakfast All Day”, which might work for a bride seeking an Annapolis bachelorette party brunch… after the sun goes down! Their simply broken down menu includes everything a brunch aficionado would love – eggs, omelets, benedicts, and sandwiches. The Iron Rooster takes reservations for larger groups, prides itself on Southern Hospitality, includes a supper menu with breakfast-inspired entrees, and has very fair pricing for the bride who wants to brunch on a budget.

Ram’s Head Tavern

Ram’s Head is one of the most historical spots in Annapolis. The restaurant has a maze of rooms, and a small library room is the perfect size to host a yummy, quaint Annapolis bachelorette party brunch. There is a large outside patio with trellises and ivy-covered awnings for bachelorette parties taking place in the warmer months. The brunch menu isn’t as extensive as other spots, but the atmosphere of this historic spot (that used to be home to the Fordham & Dominion brewing company) and unlimited make-your-own Bloody Mary bar are sure to hit the spot.

Harry Browne’s

Complimentary mimosas! If that didn’t get your attention – every brunch entrée at the elegant Harry Browne’s, located on the charming State Circle right up the hill from downtown Annapolis, includes a free glass of champagne, house wine, or mimosa. The restaurant has a 1920’s “Old World” feel and is popular with politicians, lobbyists, and definitely Annapolis bachelorette party brunches! For a slightly more up-scale, exclusive feel, Harry Browne’s is the place to be.
